Hi, I'm working on a car reseller project. And I'm building a db with sales and trade in for cars... I was thinking of using a table for cars, i.e. a car will be bought (in to the reseller), then sold again (out from reseller), but this sale will sometimes add a another into the system as a trade in car...
Can I use object pointer to link to this other car...
When trying to do this I always get the linking the opposite way, compared to object pointers to other tables...
So, in linking recID 1 to recID 5, it get a value in the recID 5 field, and not the recID 1 field...
When doing normal object pointers to other tables, I would get a value in the object pointer field of recID 1...
Is this design og bug ?
Or me just thinking wrong
