When creating fields is it possible to insert a new filed between existing fields?

Is is possible to move fields up or down in the field design view?

I triple clicked the field design table "NAME" column header and it sorted the fields alphabetically.

How do I undo the sort so the fields appear in the sequential filed order?

Hi Tim,

actually, this also depends on DB you are using
which one you use?

Hi Tim,

let's discuss this more deeply.

1) Do you want to be able to do this action (change physical order of fields in table)
a) on the step of dB Design?
b) or when db exists on disk already?

If we talk mainly about 1a case, then the best step I think is to use our Diagrams. Although we need to add change order of fields to diagrams also, this is easy enough step.

Change physical order of fields in an existed table with records, is a more hard task which takes longer time. And for each DB it takes own efforts.

2) Are you going to use this SQLite DB later from some app code OR you going to use Vstudio itself?
In the second case - Layout can have any order.

I am looking more into diagrams now

Hi Tim,

as far as I see, our devs already commit into hotfix branch implementation of this.

Diagrams and CreateSomething dialogs will allow change order of children objects IF object does not exists yet,

User should see arrows UP and DOWN.
