Yes, you have to install Valentina Server separately.
Other option - VDN version of the Valentina Server, it can be included into your application installation.

If you want to stay with local database - why don't you use Xojo Web application?

Otherwise it is necessary to develop own client-server communication mechanism, for example, REST over HTTP.

1. You want to share only the SQLite database? - Then the Valentina Server can solve this task
2. Or you need to expose functions/features implemented in your main application, to other clients (they don't have these functions) over the network? - Then you have to create an application server with some communication protocol

so way pay this Valentina DataBase ADK so what is difference with VDN more money
