When working with Valentina Server I get the error 394504 now and then. It has the totally lovely message "unknown" and the equally reason "unknown". Is this a timeout error? If yes, I'd really like to see a more eloquent error message.

Hello Beatrix,

1) The error message is "Stream EOF reached."
The connection is interrupted - there are a lot of reasons for it - timeout, server restart, crash, etc.

2) No error message - does it happen in V4RB application? On which OS?
Maybe the client has no access to the error texts, which are by default located in /usr/local/lib/vcomponents/vresources folder on OS X.

3) It is possible to get the description of error by the number.

  • Using SQL command SHOW VERRORS
  • Using a simple dialog in the Valentina Studio: Tools->Error Lookup, select connection to the server (or Valentina Files), switch to the Dec mode and enter this code.

@Beatrix Willius#
Did you solved the issue ?
Same error - crash here, on Mac OS X.
Don't know what could be the cause ...
