Hi.
I have a Summary Filed on my forms that I wish to format using the Conditional Style, but I cannot reference the value of the summary field.

Is there any way to do it? For instance if the average of a filed is negative I'd like to have the font printed in red, etc.

Cheers,

Brilliant! This will solve many cases here.
Thank you!

PS: if I try to add the aggregate expression:
Avg(VarFaturamLiq1) < 0
in the conditional style dialog and then preview the report this crashes my Valentina Studio
(running Valentina Pro Studio 8.0.2 (64-Bit) on OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)).

Hello, Humberto,

No, the value of summary can't be referenced.

I tried to do such styling in the JavaScript but not everything works as I expected.
In which region is this summary placed?

Hi Sergey,

It is in the Page Footer region. I tried also via Javascript (tried to put a pre_place like: report.controls.MYSUMMARY.fore_color="RED";) to no avail.

Any ideas?

(in other systems there is a "self" variable or function that can me used in expressions to signify the value of the object/field).

The color is defined in the hex format like "#FF00FF".
But there are other problems that make it impossible for now.

Ability to use the summary value in conditional formatting was implemented and will be available in the next release.

Hello Carlos,

You can add a rectangle below the content of the row and define a conditional style for it.
