At first, let's check the report name string.

Make it a separate reportName variable (copy-paste the value, please don't type it manually) and put a breakpoint on the second line, so you'll be able to check the contents of the string, like:

Dim reportName As String = "Report_1"

project.MakeNewReport( reportName, .... )

When you stop on breakpoint - could you please view the contents of the string in the binary form, like on my screenshot? And attach your screenshot here.
