Trying to use the VDatabase.Clone method in client/server mode doesn't seem to do anything, nor in standalone mode. And it doesn't return VException too. Is there a limitation here. As this command is disabled in VStudio in VServer mode, I wonder if we can use it or not.
(I'm using MacOS, V4RB 5.8.8 and Xojo/RB)

Indeed, currently, db.clone is disabled in vClient/vServer. But it is available in "local" mode.

I want to use this method when I try to recover a corrupted database, on the server or on a local computer.
The clone should be created where the user want it, on the client computer or on the server. I think that it would be a nice feature that the user/admin/developer could decide where he want it.

It would be nice to indicate in the wiki that it's not working in client/server mode
And that only one form of clone is working in local mode :
- VDatabase.Clone(inTargetDb as FolderItem, inLoadRecords as Boolean = true) -> working
- VDatabase.Clone(inTargetDb as VDatabase, inLoadRecords as Boolean = true) -> NOT working
