Resolved SELECT CASE WHEN (Status) THEN 1 ELSE 0 END AS InternalReportField0 FROM #tmp_expression_table????

This a report hardly ever run but now when I run it in the report writer I get this error.

SELECT CASE WHEN (Status) THEN 1 ELSE 0 END AS InternalReportField0 FROM #tmp_expression_table
Expression evaluation error: 0x71000. line 1:18: unexpected token: (

I checked all fields and none are expressions?

Any ideas?

Hi Richard,

If you don't have any expressions (or you don't need to execute them using Valentina SQL Engine),
you can simply set the property expression_engine of report to the Datasource value.

That was it! How did that get set? This was one of the first reports done with I have no idea how many versions back.

Could this show up in other reports?

I is very simple report, just displays all fields in a record.

It was a default value in some versions a long time ago (few years ago, I think).
So yes, it can show up in other reports, created in these versions.

It probably won't as this particular report hasn't been touched since it was created. It did work at one time though.
