Hi, I have to insert a image in a report. The image, created with a graphics editor, has 427 pixels x 354 pixels (3.6 cm x 3.0 cm) at 300 dpi. If I print the immagie with the graphical editor, the image is printed with the right size. If I put the image in the the report, the size increased. why ?

The resolution of report is not 300 dpi.
Picture is rendered using the size of the control, so you can set desired size in the properties and it will be scaled down.
The higher resolution will be used, for example, on HiDPI screen.

The Attachment is a comparison between Valentina Reports and Crystal Reports using different images, all with size 3 cm x 3 cm, but with 300 dpi, 150 dpi, 96 dpi, 72 dpi

P.S.: usually all printers support 300 dpi or more

Hello,

For output to image/preview it is 102 dpi.

When printing to PDF it is different and looks incorrect to me.
Graphics library (Cairo) used for report generation since version 1.2 allows to set resolution for non-vector elements,
we should be able to set it to higher value.
