There are two ways to do it in the expression:

1) Using macro $F:
$F(Field1) $F(Field2)

2) Using SQL command CONCAT (if you use Postgres and field names have upper case symbols, make sure to quote their names):
=CONCAT(Field1,' ',Field2)

For MySQL, expression can be:

=IF( StatusSocio=0, 'Activo', 'InActivo' )

'=' at the beginning tells that it is the SQL expression.
