Valentina Studio Pro 9.6.4
Fedora Linux 31

Anyone else experiencing issues with copy/paste in Valentina Studio? I am not sure if my recent update to Fedora 31, or my update to the most recent Valentina Studio has caused the following issue:

When I highlight any SQL code within the application, and right-click and select copy, the selected code does not get copied to the clipboard. When I go to paste the clipboard contents, I am getting the previous clipboard contents. I have found that if I right-click and select copy, two times, the second time the highlighted code gets copied to the clipboard.

Thanks for the update; you have saved me a lot of debugging as I upgraded to Fedora 31 at the same time and thought the issue might reside there.

I have two other questions:

1.
I have recently been experiencing VStudio hard lockups of my Linux desktop that that require a hard reboot.
All attempts to kill the VStudio process will not return control of my desktop.
I think this is due to a timeout issue with a MySQL session, as it seems to occur if I connect to an instance, execute a query, and then leave the VStudio program idle for some time. My work-around is to remember to quit VStudio when I'm not going to use it in for a few minutes.

If you could give me some guidance, I'd like to capture enough info to debugs this and get it recorded in the bug tracker.

2.
I disable Wayland system-wide on my gnome desktop because it causes a slight issue in another program (Mathematica).
Regarding the development of VStudio; are your internal builds tested with or without Wayland enabled?

Thanks for all the development efforts; VStudio is a great addition to my workflow.

Hi Chris,

1. I'll try to reproduce this bug. It would be helpful to get backtrace from VStudio when it's hang. It can be received using the command:

sudo gdb --pid=$(pidof vstudio) -batch -ex 'thread apply all bt' > out.txt

2. For now we are using only old versions of distributions to build and test VStudio. But I'll install Fedora 31 and test VStudio with Wayland today.

Thanks for you help.
