I print reports or label reports with QR codes on it. Instead of just having "a field" as content for the QR, I would like to be able to define "an expression" that might combine static info (e.g. URL parts) and include a field's information as well (Javascript, SQL expressions). An additional parameter allowing more control about size and or tolerance level would help as well.

Hello Björn,

A small example of such usage when it is necessary to add something to the barcode source data would help.
As a workaround, it is possible to add it to the source query.

As for the extended properties - yes, it can be useful, I've added this task to the bug tracker

Hello Sergey
I have added an example screenshot of a report preview demonstrating the situation. The QR-code show merely encodes the article-no (106), but it should also include a "prefix" in the QR-code: the URL. So, instead of "106", the QR-code should decode to something like: "https://warehouse.mydomain.com/param/one=106";, i.e. a concatenation/expression of some expression/string plus a field value (from a group in this case).

Sorry, couldn't find an edit functionality on the recent reply. The article is 193 in the example, not 106. Could I reach my goal using a javascript script "pre place"? However, I couldn't find a way to (directly) manipulate the contents of the report control. Sorry again for the split-message here.

Hello Bjoern,

If URL prefix is the same for QR codes you can concatenate it in the source query, so you’ll have a separate field with complete data for the QR code.
I have to check it, but as I remember currently barcode works with fields only.
