Lesson 3 of this tutorial series on Valentina Forms focuses on the Server Project Form.
In the previous tutorials, you learned how to create a simple form, then learned how to display related records. This is a basic set up you will find in any small business, such as a customer record that also displays outstanding invoices.
Lesson 3 - Server Project Form
In this tutorial, you will learn the following:
- How to copy relevant files to Valentina Server
- How to register, connect and edit databases and projects on Valentina Server
- How to execute forms from within Valentina Studio from Valentina Server
With the skills learned,
you will be able to create multi-user forms that anyone with the free Valentina Studio can access. The free Valentina Studio acts as a client or local runtime for Valentina Forms stored on Valentina Server.
While Valentina Forms are still relatively new (and we are continuously adding new features and improvements), a single copy of Valentina Studio Pro plus an installation of Valentina Server means you can replace relatively uncomplicated installations of Filemaker or Microsoft Access or other workgroup solutions.
