Managing Users

To be able to connect to a Valentina Server you should specify on connect parameters USER_NAME and USER_PASSWORD. These parameters must be pre-defined by administrator of Valentina Server.

Information about users is stored in the MasterDB database of a Valentina Server. (Valentina Server keeps not plain passwords but their hashes, vClient calculate and sends hashes over network as well.)

Administrator can add new users or drop existed. For this he can use

• Valentina Studio interface.
• Valentina SQL commands CREATE USER, DROP USER
