Hi!

Does Valentina Studio has any possibilities to list defined connections of PostgreSQL databases from .pgpass file? Basically it would be very valuable when I could keep configuration for all database connections in one place and just set the tool to use it. One the same way as psql does it.

Case is that I have hundreds of PostgreSQL databases and lifecycle for most of them is short. However all of them are registered in .pgpass file (the file maintained by the process that creates and drops databases) and described functionality would save a lot of time for me (I have no need define new and remove old connections manually).

Hello Toomas,

No, there is no such functionality to list connections from pgpass file.
How do you think it would look like? Maybe like bookmarks created automatically from this file?

The idea to create (and remove) bookmarks automatically might work.
